So yeah, I just went to see Oasis on Wednesday, no big deal...
Ahhhh! Oasis! I can't believe I've actually seen Oasis in the flesh, on a stage! They were AMAZING! Now I know why I've loved them for like ever. They, along with Blur, have a playlist of songs that are the soundtrack to my childhood and my life. Still can't believe I actually seen them, they were so brilliant, it was unbelievable, I am so freaking happy!
Also must say I was chuffed at seeing Reverend & the Makers, The Enemy (yet again) and Kasabian as well. Not going to lie, I like the Rev but I'm not a huge fan, however still brilliant. I was so excited to see The Enemy because I LOVE them! They were outstanding, as per usual. Wee Tom, Andy and Liam are my boys (not really, I just pretend they are). I go see them as much as I can cause they truly are amazing. If you've never heard of The Enemy, then listen to them, you won't regret it! Now Kasabian, they were the biggest shock of the night. I never been a big fan of Kasabian because we had a bit of a falling out a few years ago (they said something nasty about a band I loved and I was like 'well fuck you', so aye). But holy sheee-aaat, they were out of this world! I think I fell head over heels in love as soon as they finished the first song. I can't believe I held a grudge against them for so long cause they are so good! They even rivaled Oasis for the best performance of the night, it was just the sheer excitement of seeing Oasis that made them better I think. But overall the whole day/night was brilliant and I'm so happy I can say I've seen all these bands now!
And to make my life that little bit more exciting, next stop... T in the Park!! Which of course means BLUR! Imagine being able to say that you seen Blur and Oasis in same year... I'm jealous of myself! I can't wait to see Blur though, I'm like pee my pants excited. Damon, Alex, Dave and of course (my gutiar god) Graham are my lads, I love 'em!
It has to be said, live music cannot be beaten, it really can't. There's nothing quite like going to see you're favourite bands, getting drunk and singing along til you can't speak anymore. I live for it.
Oh and last thing... I've got a college interview for a Sound Production course, yay! I can't wait. Fingers crossed I get in!
